THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ALUMINUM TRANSPORT RUNNER.
It actually started with a large breeder / dealer in my area who has many species of parakeets, cockatoos and parrots. He asked me to see if I could not make a better and safe runner. Because he could not understand that some enthusiasts bought precious birds, who then had to go home in, for example, an exhibition cage or a much too small runner. Three or four hours’ drive were no exceptions, and then on returning home, the bird had, for example, broken a wing and a lot of stress with all its consequences. We then started to make a transport runner that was as safe as possible, and now 12 years later with after consultation with various breeders, these runners are the result.
The runners with plexiglass sliders are very easy to view the bird, which also makes the vet content.
Runners with slider and flap, are easy to release the bird in the cage. If you then pick up a bird, you only have to hold it in your hand once, so much less stress and damage.
We also make transport runners special for transport according to the IATA rules.
